How the scheme works for you?

Throughout the programme, at least 20% of your working hours will be spent training with us, the remaining will be spent learning on the job with your employer!

Our course structure

Stage two
Matching with your Employer

If you apply for an Apprenticeship with us, we will look to match you with an Employer to complete your Apprenticeship with.

Stage three
Course Enrollment

Once you are with your Employer, you’re ready to enrol onto your Apprenticeship programme! We will enrol you onto our programme, and be in touch to confirm your in-centre training dates, and any other key information.

Stage four
Begin your Apprenticeship

Following the enrolment process, we look forward to welcoming you into one of our centres to begin your training.

Do you have any questions about how it works?

GCSE English and Maths at Grade C/4 or higher. If you are not at this level, you will have the opportunity to work towards these qualifications during your Apprenticeship.

You must have an employer to begin an Apprenticeship. However, you can still apply with us, and we will help match you with an employer.

You must live in England. You will need to have been a UK resident for the previous three years, or a national of any European Union (EU) country or European Economic Area (EEA) for the previous three years. This is unless you have an immigration status which exempts you from the three-year residency requirement. For more information please contact us.

You must be aged 19+ to apply for an Apprenticeship with us.

You must not be in full-time education.

You cannot be self-employed as a sole trader.

For the Level 3 Gas Engineering Installer, the training will typically take 18 months to complete. For the Level 2 Dual Fuel Smart Metering Apprenticeship, the training will typically take 14 months to complete.
